My boss got tired of all the sales faxes received at night, numbering at times in the double digits. She thought she got a great deal on this fax machine until she had to start buying carbon rolls for it. After I informed her that the faxes were costing her about 50 cents per and $20 for a carbon cartridge, she let me fix it right. All her faxes after hours came into a desktop computer that was on all the time anyway. The Microsoft software can collect any incoming faxes without printing them. After I showed everyone how to do it, it took minutes to look at each fax on the screen. She could delete the garbage or print the keepers on her laser printer. I don"t think she used a carbon roll in three months after I set it up. Check your technical support or local computer geek to set you up. You probably already have the answer under your fingertips.
