I think you are right on track with your thinking, especially in this case.

The trouble is, and more so with the young pretty girls, is that they pick up very early on in life that a little pout or a big smile will get them just about anything they want and without their really having to do anything else in return, other than bat those eyelashes and roll those big eyes.

In my opinion, part of your responsibility is to help form her young character in this instance as well. Nothing degrading or disrespectful mind you, but just a token repayment of your reaching out to help her when she was in need.
