Here's what it sounds like to me. It sounds like the float is sticking up. My Oliver has been doing that for about 6 months. I haven't had the time to take care of the problem yet. I would start the engine. After about 30 seconds , it will stall. It will not start until I tap on the side of the carb. I can run it all day long. Shut it off , start it back up numerous times. No Problems. Once it sets over night , we start all over again. So , what I do is , start the engine up. Get off the tractor and tap on the side of the carb before it stalls. Then it's fine for the day. Like others say , it can be many other things. But it sure sounds to me like the float is sticking up , not letting gas into the bowl. Let us know how you make out.
