Nick..........Is it possible that the choke is sticking on? That would be my first guess and first check point. After that maybe you'll need to adjust the mixture. Towards the end of the warm up period does the engine start to shoot extreme black smoke? Does the engine start to cut out before it dies? There's a possibility of several things.
