I think a separate OT forum would be great. But in my opinion for it to be successful you have to have 2 things. First off, it has to be listed on the main page with the rest of the forums, and at the very top of the list. Secondly, you must have strict rules, and follow them regarding OT on the other forums. You can't say this OT should be allowed and that one not, so the only sensible way is to allow none. The OT forum would probably act as a lobby, an entry into this site, as the Tractor Talk one does now. You will get questions on how much oil does this take from newcomers, they can easily be recommended to the other forums. Demeaning of other users would never be allowed, and probably not politics or religion. You would also have to have a bit of tollerance on the other forums. Stick to the no OT rules, but don't crucify a person, in particular a new person to the site, for OTing. They might not know. I really believe this can work, but these are only suggestions. I'm willing to discuss this with anyone. My email is unlocked. Have a nice weekend all.
