kubota l3830 too big?

i spread gravel and dirt for a living, as of 3 months ago, and had a jd 790 with no front end loader. i liked it bcause it was small and easy to maneuver in tight places since most of my jobs are residential and are between 50 and 150 yards of material. anyone else used a 3830 on a small job? not to mention this tractor requires a 6 foot boxblade as opposed to the 5ft i"m used to. is this too much tractor? i havn"t signed on the dottedline yet.
