Well fella, the cold weather is coming soon and last week I changed my propane supplier to a major nation wide company: Ferrell gas comp. I got a 1000 gallon tank and they hooked it all up and the guys were friendly too...image that. My other supplyer of propane was a local mom-pop shop that I didnt care too much for and they wouldnt start the prebuy for the winter season. I had a long conversation with some yahoo there. I told him if they didnt start the prebuy before 8-31 then I was going to dump em. Get this. The guy told me that his boss was trying to time the market for the prebuy and get the best price and that they wouldnt start the prebuy until after August (after all their competition stopped the prebuy) I told the guy that his boss was a moron for thinking he could time the market and that I would no longer be a customer. So last Saturday I went up to the local propane supplier and said hey come get your tank, the guy says okay and you will forfeit the 90 gallons or so of the propane in the tank...oh well at least they are out of my hair.
As far as firewood goes, I got about 6-7 facecords ready but that is more than enough. ANy of you guys heat with wood and live in Mich. I live near FLint. I will sell it to you cheap, say $25/truck load. Oak, hickory, maple, elm.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo. ... [Read Article]
