I kinda think of the tractor talk forum as the catch-all for general, broad topics like the one I'm considering posting this morning. The forums lower down seem to help to clear up the clutter that this forum gets by classifying by color brand. It seems that everyone comes here and the posts cycle through pretty fast. People who have a farmall M go to the farmall board for questions specifically related to them but will then come on this forum for more general topics. You post about a specific tractor here, you're likely to get opinions from AC, JD, MF, Kubota, etc. people. You post on the Deere board and get only Deere people or jerks looking to stir the soup. The posts don't seem to fly along on the other boards as the people are not making political posts or even many off topic posts. I guess I'm saying this is sort of thought as a "Common Ground" for everyone, just not No-Holds-Barred. I'm as guilty as the next guy for diving head first into an off-topic posts. I just don't get insulting as others seem to do. As long as you follow the rules, Kim is a reasonable, intelligent person and will treat you right no matter what you're posting.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
