I've got 54 acres of good farm land here and 15 acres of ok bushland. This cash cropping is not the answer. I work with a pretty big operator, so I get his pricing on products and he gives me quite a break on custom work. Even with these discounts, I don't end up with squat. I have limited equipment, and have had livestock, and have done alot of custom haying...... My question is "What's working for you guys?" They say pumpkins are good, but like everything, everybody is making the jump. ..so if you don't mind could you share your PROFITABLE agriculture ideas. I've been looking into a lumber mill, mainly cause I like working with the lumber. thanks Hound.
