NO!!!!!! I guess I should expand on that. Quite some time ago, a friend of mine (my insurance agents husband) gave me a pair of deer whistles after I had a close call. I put them on the wife"s car as I was driving it to work as a fuel saving measure. After hitting three deer in as many weeks, I physically and violently removed them from the front of the vehicle. Some people will tell you that they work because they haven"t hit a deer since putting them on. Maybe they wouldn"t have hit anything with them off. Just the way it happened for me.
