300lbs,,man did it have rack, was it a muley or a white tail,,.I drive 100 miles a day through good deer country here in New York,,I drove $1000-$2000 cars first coupla years,,never hit a deer,,got tired a tearing up the junkers in 6-12 mos. So I bought a brand new one, 2 weeks into cruisin in my sparklin newbie and "WHACK" there he was. Honestly though my opinion is that if you really pay attention and know what to look for and you are on a familiar route, you can cut your chances dramaticaly, the one I did hit and other close calls seem to be mostly me not being on guard.Oh yeah about them deer whistles,,I never tried em,but I always wondered if you put them on your rear bumper will deer chase you. Well Good Luck ,,watch out for Bambi Stan
