JRRY. Why do you waste everybody"s time by not telling anyone what you have "supposedly" done before you post? From your fiasco with the 1650, I would have thought that you might learn a little. It seems you have not checked the motor on the bench, - and how do you measure how much power is available at the starter lead? Maybe you measured the volts on open circuit? What is the voltage at the starter motor(and at the battery terminal) when the starter switch is operated? How many wires go to the starter. If it is just one direct from the battery with a mechanically operating contactor, there is patently no electrical interlock. These are the things you should have done, even before coming to the forum, if you are smart enough to have already done all these other checks mentioned. If you have done all those things you would not be coming back with no information - Bigdog said early on "Have you checked the motor runs off the tractor using jumper cables" (direct to the battery, not from the battery leads).
