Just what the doctor ordered! Thanks for asking. The Deere cornheads on the IH combines was the end result of IH trying to steal the Deere design. When Deere won several million for patent infringement, they started offering a conversion kit to allow Deere heads to adapt to IH feederhouse's. You will see many Deere corn heads, as well as the rowcrop bean head on IH combines. No matter what anyone says, the entire industry has been chasing Deere since the 4010 came along. Deere still owns the lead in market share, some 44 years after they wrestled it away from IH. John
