I have a smaller Ford/New Holland than you asked about, but it has been a good one for me. The only problems I've had are an oil seepage at the loader control valve where the hoses connect, and tire problems. The foreign made tires are crap and I've had mowed weed stubble puncture them numerous times. Otherwise the 1720 has nearly 800 hours on it without other problems. BTW, mine is a Ford/New Holland that came out just prior to the complete name change to New Holland.
