In the town I was born at in 1961 there were 7 dealerships. now the closest one is 25miles away and its a caseIH... JD is 40, MF is 60, FHN is 30. One local JD dealer lost exactly half its customer base in the 10yrs it was in business do to retirement, forcloser and beeign forced out. and that had been an established Deere dealer. In 1979 we had the 3rd largest (volume) MF dealer in the nation.. it closed in1981....
1 4x4 replaced 4 4020's so you lose 3 farmers. see how that works... but we call it progress its actually regress.
