This is your lucky day. Had the same tractor and the same manual and remember the same "error." In fact the entire manual appears to have been written by someone japanese who can write broken english without running it through someone to review it in english for "content and context." Use the 20w hydraulic - and a tip if you haven't had the tractor long - - don't run the low octane gas, get the highest octane you can. If you run low octane, it's bad about fouling plugs. That is a great little tractor. I used it with a "6 ft" finishing mower - only problem was it doesn't have a high enough gear that will give good ground speed and at the same time keep the pto at 540 rpm, so grass cutting on a large place is a little too slow, although I used it for 4 years. And the little engine (it's a Mazda engine) needs too much rpm to get the power curve, so you get the "tingles" using it for very long. That tractor was made by Mitsubishi (they bought Satoh in bankruptcy), with a Mazda engine, and distributed by contract through Case dealers in the early to mid 70's - in fact if you look at it, it is styled like a small Case. The Case dealers used it as a small inexpensive estate tractor alternative to Case. Don't buy points, condenser, rotor, cap, etc. at the dealer. There were about 11 supply houses left nationwide to service the tractor with parts until the inventory runs out. Points and a dist cap cost me $70, until I learned to take the points to NAPA and match them up to the Mazda engine. The second set of points cost me $3. If it's got the large 3-bolt rear wheel cast iron weights, take them off unless you expect to plow with it. Good luck, RKS
