Seems that a lot of adware and spyware sneaks onto a computer that no anti virus software stops. If a computer starts running really slow or homepages start changing then probably getting some adware or spyware on it. There is one spot www.microsoft.com/spyware that has a couple of programs on it you can download for free that does a pretty good job of cleaning up a computer from what I have been told. Haven't tried it yet myself but plan on getting them downloaded one of these days.
