i don"t own it but use & work on a turbo of the same truck, Great truck!! Have a neighbor that has the non turbo, like you are asking about says it is the most gutless truck he ever owned. Says to haul his tool box is about all it can pull!! i do like the power of the turbo unit. when it comes to working on these units That 7.3 really fills up the engine compartment. Not much room to work. FWIW

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
