I have a 91 250 with the same motor. Great truck, nothing fancy, no speed records, just reliable, for me anyway. I use it as a work truck. I put cubes of block, brick, whatever in it and it handles just fine. I pull (not all at the same time, thatd be crazy) an IH 484, Kubota L2900, and a Case 60xt skid loader with attachments. I haven't had any problems. Sometimes it struggles up hills, but getting a good running start works fine. Compared with a new 250 extended cab long bed, my 91 steers like a battleship.
