Ken: I think you will find most suppliers of batteries have both cheapies and quality. I can't tell you about the rest but here in SW Ontario, NAPA is excellent on warrenty. I went to them with a battery bought in another province, warrenty had been lost and I had nothing more than bank debit slip showing where and when I bought it. About 10 min. and I walked out with a new battery, costing me very little. I call that service. I might add I bought one at CaseIH with similar results. This battery I had bought for a tractor I was working on. It sat in my shop 3 weeks before being used. When I installed battery it was dead. I took it back, they checked it on a tester. They decided it was bad from factory, thus gave me a new one. In both cases the replacments have been good batteries. Years ago I always considered Canadian Tire had the best 6 volt battery, they may still have the best 6 volt battery. I just don't enjoy standing around their store all day to buy one small item. To me shopping at Canadian Tire, you start to look for your bedroom, as you begin to think you must have moved in.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
