I agree with you guys. I got back a CASE VAO
that had the usual crack in the block behind
the carburetor which I had sealed with sodium
silicate 10 years before. The coolant in the
system was low when I went to pick it up so I
added some 50/50 mix when I got ready to
start it......it was leaking a bit so I added 3 oz.
of sodium silicate and went to the field. By the
time I got through marking that field the crack
was no longer seeping...now, after a few more
'run-cool' cycles, it's completely dry.
