I have a 48' Farmall Cub that I mow about 2.5 acres a week with. I never have a problem of overheating. You said the fan is on the outside of the radiator and it is electric. That may be your problem. I would say the that the electric fan either does not have the power that the belt generated fan would have or that the pitch of the blades is not great enough thus not moving enough air. Second theory would be that your cooling system is plugged up some where and is not getting the proper flow. I know when I took my radiator off there was 2 lbs. of gunk in the cast resivoir the radiator mounts to. And to touch on the mower. I too just rebuilt mine this winter after a year of headcahes cutting grass. I have a 42" Woods belly mower on mine and that is about all she can handle. It cuts well with the 42" in either first or second depending on height and grade. I have many hills in my yard and pulls it fine. As far as the 60" I would say you are sending your Cub back to the shop or to the tractor graveyard in a hurry working it with that 60" mower. That is a big pull. I don't know how you get it started it takes a lot to get my 42" deck going. These are just a few thoughts. Sorry so long. Bill {Antique Acres}
