I-40 west of Flagstaff was shut down Monday night from a bad snow storm. I-40 east can see some snow and ice pack clear to Dallas. Not often but it does happen.

If you can't time your trip between storms then you can always drop down to I-10 and go that way.

This time of the year I awlays carry tire chains for both the tow vehicle and trailer. No cable chains!
