I've got a 17HMR in a Henry lever action and I really like it. Works great on prarie dogs. There is now a 17 mach 2 but it doesnt have the range or speed of the 17 HMR. I havent shot a 17 mach 2 yet but I will never regret buying my henry. Wind really affects them as far as accuracy but that is half the fun. A freind of mine has a 17hmr in a Ruger and he loves it. He traded a 22 mag for it and said he likes the 17 better.
