E BAY ; too good to be true?

Maybe old news, but whats up with these mostly new compact tractors with loaders etc. Some even with 16 ft. trailers. I just viewed 3. all had the same serial no. 9999 from different parts of the country? There is an old saying about things being too good to be true, right? I'm a little scared to bid . thanks. Will.
