Was at a shooting range a while back, and the folks shooting about three benches down were shooting one of 'em. Report was so loud and sharp, I finally wandered down and asked what high performance caliber they were shooting - thought they were shooting one of the new short magnums, 'cause it was sure LOUD! We were shooting .50 cal muzzle loaders that weren't near as objectionable. I'll keep using my .22 cal rimfire or a .223 for varmints, thank you.
