I don't know anything about your 1917 model Beeman, but the company was still in business as; New Beeman Tractor Co., Minneapolis, Minn., through 1941 or 1942. At that time they were making one model. It had a Beeman one cylinder water cooled 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 engine rated 230 to 1500 rpm. It had a Kingston model L 3/4" carburator, Heinze magneto, and 1/2" spark plug. It was 86" long including handles, 17 1/4" wide, 40" high, 7 1/2' clearance, 540 lbs weight. It had differential steering and a 4" x 4 1/2" belt pulley 230 to 1500 rpm, same as engine. Is your 1917 model simular to this 1941 model? Harold H
