You are correct, I made an error on the number killed and I apologize for that. But to say we have no military to speak of is an insult. While I admit our military has not received the funding it deserves I believe our troops account themselves very well with what they have to work with. As far as grand social programs to take care of everyone, I don't beleive they exist. What we have attempted to put in place is a system that helps individuals out when circumstances are such that they can't take care of themselves. I for one do not mind paying a few extra dollars in tax knowing that the senior down the road is getting some assistance. And I did not mean to insinuate that your ideas are the same as the terrorists, what I meant was that they feel that their way of life and their ideals are the only way to live and that anything different is wrong and must be destroyed. The feeling I get from you, right or wrong, is that your way is the only way and that what we have come up with here is wrong just because it is different. A narrow mind, regardless of the focus, is not a good thing and until people are willing to admit that they are not perfect nothing will change
