IH Cub Mowing Troubles II

Thanks to everyone who answered my mowing troubles question. I changed the height settings on the mower and the blades are now .375 inches lower in the front than in the back when measured from a cement floor up to the blade. Is this enough? I tried it out after I made the changes and things went pretty good for a while. I tried to mow over my septic mound and after making a few passes and as I was coming down the hill the radiator cap gave out and coolant came gushing out like a geyser. What kind of a radiator cap should be used on the Cub? Mine came with a 10lb. pressure cap, I don't know how old it is, I've never replaced it. What level do I need to keep the coolant at in the radiator? Thanks again for any help you may provide.
