Thanks for the thoughts fellas. I think I'll try to find a set of spacers but if we get a lot of snow before then, I may try the cable (I've got a whole roll out back). One of the tires is so-so and the other about scrap, so tire wear wouldn't be a concern. They would only be used a couple hours at a time if we have to much snow for the jeep to handle. As for slpping around the rim, I would bolt the clamp to the rim to keep it in place, just like when I had the chains on. Seeing as how we haven't had any replies from someone who's tried it, it's beginning to sound more interesting, just as an experiment to see what it does. Smiley
