Paul: So that's what it is, Michigan State Police do tend to have quite a visable presence on your highways. Nothing to see 4 or 5 of them on I-94 between Port Huron and Detroit. One fellow in particular likes to park right where trucks come out of the customs booth. If you've been sent to the compound you best have your seatbelt on for that 700' journey. Quite a shocker for these Ont. guys who go all week and never see an OPP patrol car. A guy in Hamtramck told me that is the reason you don't see a lot of Ont. plated cars in MI. Yet you see thousands of MI plated cars in ON daily. He tells me those MI cars in ON are the Michigan residents who like breaking the law and getting away with it. Seems reasonable from where I watch.
