The 2-235 is an excellent tractor. As with anything, past maintenance is important. Some of them had problems with initial ring clearance being too great resulting in ring failure. The new piston-sleeve sets have corrected that problem. Most of these had around 170 HP with cold fuel, so if you add a fuel cooler off of a 185, you can maintain the 170 HP, otherwise the HP will fall as the fuel temp rises, but you will still have 135 HP.
