Back in January of 1969 when I was actually working...I was living about 12 blocks from my job, and every morning for 4-5 days at a time it was always -30 or more. And every morning, my new Dodge Charger wouldn't start, and I would walk to work, and hope that by noon it had warmed up to -20, so I could walk back home and get my car. It didn't take too long before I wised up and I invested in a new "Auto-Start" system (Not a remote start, but rather you selected either interior or engine temperature, and it started the engine about once every hour). After that, I thought I was king of the hill with that device! Why would a person stay in SD? Must be lack of cranial cells from all that cold!
