Can be on the dock, but doesn't need to be. If are using at least Win98 (think 98 works too, not sure, might be too old), can fire up your PC, plug USB cable into camera (I assume you have one end in USB com port on PC), and turn on camera. Kodak transfer software will automatically pop up on desk top (computer) when sees your camera (like plug and play). Click transfer and let it do it's thing (down load from camera). It will save the photos in a folder that it creates with the date that you did it (down loaded) in memory album (something like that). You can move these photos or folder into "my documents" or "my pictures" under my documents by right clicking "Start", left clicking on "Explore", double left clicking on Kodak (left column), right clicking on desired folder (right column), left clicking on either "copy" or "cut" (your choice), double left clicking on "My Documents" (left column), single left clicking on "My Pictures" to highlite, right clicking "paste".

How to get them to this site is another matter that you'll have to ask someone else about, for I'm only responsible for blowing up your computer, not this site. No, actually, from memory, that should get your pictures either copied or moved from the Kodak software into "My Pictures", from memory, but I honestly don't know how to get them to here via the web, but others do. Good luck.

Mark

Today's Featured Article - Talk of the Town: Winterizing Engines - To Drain or Not to Drain? - by Russ Berry. What is this strange attraction I have to equipment and machinery? How did I get this way? I came from the suburbs and own a small horse farm in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. You can call me a "weekend farmer." The local farmers do. Does it bother me? No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most ... [Read Article]
