I know exactly what you mean, I lost the filiment bearings in a antique candle one time and man you talk about hard to find, still haven't found one, may just have the candle machined and put brass bushings back in, I think this would be ok since I really dont want to use this candle that hard, just in parades and such. Any better ideas from you guys please let me know as to I'm pretty new to the candle game. In jest, Walter Squires

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
