Most years I run right at 140 small squares per acre (36" long shooting for 50 pounds each) on 4 cuttings (5 total cuttings, sometimes 6) with the 1st (and largest) coming off as round bale silage. Central KY, established stands, pH 6.8-7.2, P and K medium + or greater with 100# 18-46-0 and 200# 0-0-60 added after 1st cutting.
