Hey ya Allan, my last girlfriend has horses. My vet took me off to the side and said, "Once a woman gets a horse, you'll never do better than second ever again". Is my ex-girlfriend. LOL. Hey guess what? Got a call today, them Amish finally got started on the new 40x60. 4 of them got the poles, side rails and trusses up today. Warm next few days - let's get that concrete poured too. Bout time, I've been waitin for weeks for them to show up. Tractors are settin out. Killed the battery on the Deere when the temps were zero-ish last week (won't use ether and didn't add anti-gel). The Allis has moisture oozing out of the PTO and I'm pretty sure moisture in the mag. Room for the Massey and Case too. And the pickups. I am excited about gettin home to Indiana first AM tomorrow for the holiday weekend. I'm on-call here in Illinois until 7AM, then hittin the interstate. Annnnnd, I hear these Amish are using a bobcat with an auger, but won't touch a ladder, and won't talk on the phone. I hear they're gonna goof on the doors, and gotta stop them in their tracks. Told them the overheads go on each end off to the same side so can pass through with bays on the other side - they want to come in 10' from the side towards the center. NO!! NO!! NO!!, but they won't talk on the phone. Never will figure them guys out, but right now don't care - just get the darned thing up so I can get the iron sunk for the 5 ton hoist. I am excited. Oh yeah, is (was) fun to watch the smile on the face of the better-half galloping around - is (was) worth it.
