New engines meeting EPA standards tend to hide adjustment screws under plugs/caps or do not have adjustable jets- must disassemble and replace jets with next smaller size to lean mixture. You will probably have to check shop manual and parts manual blowup of carburator to see what adjustment is possible. If you're lucky you may just have to take off float bowl to access hidden jet/needle assembly that formerly was poking through bottom of bowl on Tecumseh.
