Went to a seminar [beer hot dog party]once for truck batteries and oil filters.They are rated by what size particles they pick up out of the oil,measured in microns.I forgot a microns size,maybe .0004". But any way the best was a Hastings fiter.It employed a cotton like material,not paper and specs were better than all others by far.However Im sure the outfit throughing the party were Hastings distributors.They showed us all the filters cut open.They sold me on the Hastimgs filters.
