Don't know how interesting it would be to the Scouts and it's (maybe) not what you're looking for, but................the Biltmore Estate is just outside of town; largest private dwelling ever in the USA; found it very enjoyable to see how the "other half" used to live...........it was a working farm at one time and now has a working vineyard.
