I dropped my subscription about a year ago. They can't decide if they want to be a magazine for agri-business or a magazine for touchy-feely country yuppies. When I open it up, I want to know what the markets are doing and what their take is on the soybean rust issue, not how some soccer-moms should be spending quality time with the kiddies while Daddy's out grooming the horse. Important issues, sure, but for another magazine. And there's my old rant that you've all seen me express here before: Why do they have to start whining about re-subscribing after you've recieved only one or two issues? Let me enjoy the magazine for a while before you start nagging me and playing games like "buy 2 years and get one year free plus a new hat and a chance to win a new tractor!" Sorry, I'll try to be careful as I get down off my soapbox now. Jim.
