Over the years , I've learned to have most of my repairs done by professionals , may have cost more at the time , but really paid off long term. Any rad work , other than external cleaning , I've had done at the local rad shop. Have her boiled out and pressure checked. Those 5000's were one of , if not the BEST tractor Ford ever produced. Mine is just a hair short of 10'000 hrs and was dynode at 84hp when new. Other than routine maintenance, she goes through a water pump every 5 or 6 yrs and would burn up a muffler in about 3 yrs.
