I guess along the same line, we used to carry an assortment of them at our volunteer fire department. During major power outages (back in the 70s) we used them, along with pigtails in order to provide short bursts of electricity to homeowners so they could get some water out of their wells and run the heat a bit. I guess now with the extreme legislation of the deployment of "common sense", we were all "stupid" for doing so and should all be sent to the code-enforcement jail.
