I would try what geok said. Check the hydraulic oil strainer/ oil filter. I have seen some of these clogged with shavings from the manufacturing process. If the hydraulics still do not work, remove the four bolts and the main line from the hydraulic control valve. Slide the control valve head off the studs and remove all removable pieces and thouroghly wash all orifices. Slap on a new gasket, new o-rings and copper washers and replace. For parts you can find a local dealer by going to longagribusiness.com. The hard starting could be from a bad thermostarter or it could be as simple as a loose or cracked line. Hope this helps.
