Hydrolic fluid leak on old MF

I just recently purchaced a 1960ish Massy Ferguson 25, a French made diesel. It runs great; however, last week after a few hours working with the boxscrapper, I parked it to take a break. When I parked it the scrapper was up. When I returned the scrapper had settled down, and I saw a small puddle of clear thick liquid ( I think it uses mineral oil for hydrolic-tranny fluid) around the gear-shift. Is this something I should be concerned about? Am I right about the mineral oil? Any ideas?
