Several years ago, on one of my collecting runs, i found a late model cast John deere pedal tractor setting out at the curb, with a bag of garbage on it, and other bags and refuse stacked all around it! Well, i figured they were throwing it out, so into my truck it went, and it got a new home at my place! the reason it got thrown out was: The bolts that hold the pedal assy in, had broken off, so, the "moderns" who can't repair anything, set it out with the garbage!! but: I can't let the Grandson play with it, because, if you have kids, you know they can't put anything away, they just let it set out front, or in the driveway, and go off to play with something else! I have a friend, who owns a farm, and he's bought 3 of the JD toy pedal tractors, and they have all been stolen! So, mine is in the garage out back, waiting for the big auction, when i'll sell it all off, and go live in my tent or motor home, which ever one is left, after the County takes the rest! by: Rustyj
