David: I've had mail go as quick as 2 days from SW Ontario to Iowa and take as long as 12 days to Illinois. I had one go to Indianna, I could have walked there and delivered it quicker. I find not much difference with it coming the other way either. Land mail is definately faster than air mail. Shipping will not be a whole lot different. Properly labeled parcels are rarely ever opened. I would stick with good old postal service both sides of the border. What they tell you it's going to cost is what it will cost, no surprise brokerage bills showing up 3 months later.
