Wulff Man, I run a set of 18.4 X 34 Galaxys on my 966. Plus carring 750 lbs of cast on each rear corner. They have been on since summer of 97 They are tough and still look very good. It was my understanding that Galaxy makes a lot of Industrial/Earthmoving type tires when I got my set. So being tough was just understood. I have been very pleased with them. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
