Currently I have a 53 Jubilee and it does all the chores, has 5' finish mower, 5' bush hog, box blade, pulverizer, scoop, boom pole, pallet lifter, scrap blade, fertilizer spreader and a doodad for digging a skinny ditch for laying cable. I love it, but am thinking of getting a tractor that I could use as a dedicated mower. I have the the N on the Smiths page, but am seeking opinions on alternatives. I need it to be with a low center of gravity as I do have some hills. I want to use at least a 5' belly mower but would love a 6' if I could find one. Since it will only be doing mowing, it does not have to have a 3point hitch although it would be nice if it did. So, any suggestions? I would consider all brands, IH, JD, Case, whoever made a low version. Thanks. Oh, I can spend about 3000 to 4000 tops for this setup, so that might narrow the field some.

12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
