If all the cast iron & heavy stuff is there, I've not seen an old tractor go less than $400. If it turns over or has something good like solid sheet metal, a bit more than that. Doesn't matter the color, or so old there is no color... The $600 probably isn't a bad starting price for him, you might get it down to $500 by saving him from having to haul it.
